What? Everyone was doing it. I wanted to fit in. Again.
Lo and behold, my art's lifespan.2003
: I've always wanted to draw on the computer. And I liked Zelda to death, so I combined the two in a quite messy manner with MSPaint and Chibi Rinku's Oekaki boards (because I was also obsessed with her back then. Now you know why I'm a Chibi too). I had a habit of making pictures really, really
small, so those were pretty much actual size. All I drew was fanart. What in the world was an "Oh See" ? Oh, and I used a mouse. <:2004
: This... was not much different from the previous year BUT! traces of fan-made and original characters are found. The blue hair girl was an early OC (not my first) that I made for Neopets RPs. eeuuugh. That Chibi Faiye thing in the middle-right was for my Xanga page. I tried out so many Chibi ____ names. Like Chibi Gin, Chibi Faiye, Chibi Oni, Chibi Link, sdjgslkjdg2005
: After a certain hurricane
devastated me, I decided to get serious. It's a little bit of an improvement but not by much. I started drawing Boktai fanart around at this time and poor Zelda stops being draw'd. I also had a habit of drawing random people who I did not know who they are, except for the lady on the right. Can you guess who she's an early design of~?And, yes, twin, COTTONCANDYHAIR2006
: HOLY CRAP! I'm using... PENCILS AND INK! Maybe I got tired of using a mouse. Hmm. Here I get better at anatomy. 2007
: We go on back to digital to apply what I've learned using ink and pencil work (At this point, computer mice were just as good as pencils for me). 2008
: Here, I am searching for my style since I became pretty confident that I can draw considerably well. Then I realized I was doing good at mimicking other styles by bits and bits. Also, ~TheIllastrator
introduced me to a tiny, barely known community called TEGAKI EEEE. lol Oh, and I get a tablet by then too 8Db (And Gunner looks weird here because it's from a birthday pic for my friend and she was born near Mardi Gras so I gave her Mardi Gras colors <3)2009
: Oh look! OCs! I adopt the free art program called Paint.NET which I use like a MADWOMAN nowadays.
I'm so blown by how far I was able to get. I hope I (and everyone else) improves even more this brand new year!
Oh. And happy new year!Characters belong to their respective owners
